Pearl and Brians trips and adventures

So we woke up to what was going to be our last Sea day ,after a leisurely breakfast in the Epicurean we headed to the live lounge for a talk by ex professional footballer Francis Benali.
Then to the Atrium for Coffee and cards . After a little packing we headed to the Lido deck to watch and listen to Pulse .Then it was a tour of the sports area and a quick game of shuffle Board . The rest of the afternoon was spent on the balcony relaxing before getting ready for the Beach house restaurant .
The following morning we arrived in our final destination Barbados , after meeting with the Barbados Immigration authorities we caught a taxi to the Harbour Lights part of Carlisle Bay beach . Our Taxi was $5 per person ,entrance to the beach was $10 each which included an Umbrella and two Sun beds. We had a very enjoyable few hours at the beach , the sea was so warm and an amazing shade of Blue . After our time on the beach we decided to walk back to the ship it took about 45 minutes . Before getting back onboard we stopped at one of the bars and had a quick drink . That evening the cases were put out at 6.15 ready to be whisked away and not to be seen again until we reached Gatwick . That evening we had dinner in the Buffet before heading to the very empty Live Lounge for the final time .
So the next morning was going home day , not something we were looking forward to . We had our last breakfast in the Epicurean before killing time with cards and Coffee . Then up to the buffet for a quick spot of lunch before our time to leave the ship came .
Everything was organised really well and we were soon boarding the plane for the flight home . In fact the flight actually took off 20 minutes early which was a nice surprise .
Landing at Gatwick was bit of a shock as the temperature was minus 2 , good job I wore my Jeans and carried a Hoodie with me .
So this was the end of another memorable Caribbean cruise , we loved our first time on Britannia and of course the Suite and that Balcony . Thank you to all who watched , commented , shared and Subscribed it means a lot to us . Thanks for Watching ❤️❤️🛳️🛳️
